About My Clients

My training has been focused on working with mental health issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community (coming out experiences, internalized shame, complicated/strained familial relationships, self worth/self value), but I am open to working with all individuals and couples/diverse relationships facing stressors and conflicts in life. You’re here, let's work together.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is collaborative and curious, knowing that when comfort and safety is established, that there is space to identify and deconstruct the messages that you may have received from living in a patriarchal, het/cis/mono-normative society. I use an integrative, relational, and narrative-based approach, recognizing that there's no one-size-fits-all model and my work integrates all forms of media to ground our sessions. I am inclusive and affirming of all LGBTQ+, ethnic, cultural, sexual, and gender identities and I am sex-positive, body-positive, kink-affirming, and neurodivergent affirming.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I recognize that I am not an expert on my clients' lives nor am I a “blank canvas”; when we meet, that therapeutic space is built upon the realities and experiences we have both witnessed and our similarities and differences can impact that dynamic. The therapeutic relationship itself can become one in which conflict is met with opportunity for growth, change, and evolution.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
