Relationships are hard. Dating and finding a healthy partner is hard, and maintaining that relationship is a lot of work. Throw in a job, maybe some kids and pets, and somehow time to get to the gym? Crazy hard. But when you have a relationship that is great, that really makes you a better version of yourself? Amazing. Nothing compares. And that's why I work with couples, because relationships are hard work, but having a great one is totally worth all the work.
My clients are burnt out from seeking external validation, people pleasing and avoiding conflict. They question how they should feel or are overwhelmed when they do feel and have likely been told somewhere along the way that they are ‘too much’ or ‘too sensitive.’ They desire relief from uncertainty, anxiety and a sense of aloneness but the tools they have aren’t providing sustainable change.
You know you are not living your best life. You feel unhappy, unhealthy and overwhelmed trying to find the "right" counselor or healer for you. I know that navigating our current "sick care" system is difficult & disheartening. That's why I provide Feminist-Holistic care . I empower women, just like you, to heal your emotional wounds, improve your thinking, lose weight & keep it off for optimall health. You'll finally live your best life with a holistic plan that addresses your WHOLE self!
Sometimes you feel so down that things seem hopeless, and sometimes you’re so anxious you can’t even rest. You’ve already tried on your own to solve your problems, but insight alone isn’t shifting things. You speak to yourself unkindly, which doesn’t help. You want to have fewer ups and downs, or maybe you’re wanting to change a relationship that your friends say is toxic. At this point, you’re ready to try something new.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

Do you feel overwhelmed by feelings or physical sensations in the body? Maybe you feel disconnected, stressed, anxious or ashamed? We’ll work together to understand and befriend your nervous system and build upon experiences of safety and connection to promote healing and emotional well-being. I help folks of all backgrounds find a sense of safety in their body after experiences of trauma, chronic pain, and body-based oppression (transphobia, anti-fat bias, ableism, racism, etc.).
Sometimes we just need space to show up as ourselves and have the support to explore some of life’s difficulties. I approach our relationship with an open and accepting mindset, understanding that your feeling of comfort and safety in the therapy room is essential to creating a trusting bond and healing atmosphere.
Are stress and worry keeping you from enjoying all aspects of your life? Are you lacking the right outlet to share your concerns and feelings? Take the next step and call or e-mail to find out how I can partner with you in this journey.

Whether you're struggling with trauma, life changes, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, or exploring your racial identity, I am here to help. My commitment to cultural sensitivity ensures that your unique background and experiences are valued and respected throughout our work together.
Often my clients have been in traditional talk therapy but something still felt missing or unaddressed. They come to me looking to deepen their mental and emotional well being with something more. Most of my clients struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people pleasing, and/or boundary setting. Nearly all of my clients have experienced something in their lives that's left them changed in some way such as unhealthy romantic relationships, chronic illness, or a traumatic childhood.
*ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!* I work with my peers in the LGBTQ+ community, those affected by trauma & PTSD, & college-aged adults in a life transition. Do you struggle in your relationships? Has trauma significantly impacted your ability to lead a healthy & fulfilling life? Are you navigating being queer or the coming out process? I help you uncover patterns, develop healthy coping skills, & learn to experience difficult emotions. I've dedicated my career to serving those affected by trauma & PTSD.
Do you find yourself feeling lost, not knowing how to find a new normal? Are you breaking down over small things? Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stuck? Throughout our lives, change is inevitable, and it is HARD. When we are struggling, it is easy to feel like we are not enough—that we should be doing more, adjusting faster, “getting over it”, and enjoying our lives. I want you to know that it is okay to not be okay. What you feel is not forever, and a new normal is possible.
I work collaboratively with those who are deeply curious about themselves and motivated to make deep, lasting change. I work with people who have endured all kinds of traumas and a wide range of life challenges and transitions. I am skilled in supporting teens and adults in all life stages who value living the examined life. Clients who seek me out are tired of repeating the same, destructive patterns and are ready for something new to emerge for themselves and their relationships.

I work with couples and individuals of all sexual, gender, and racial orientations. I support clients in breaking old habits, defeating false perceptions, and developing new, positive ways of living. Therapy is individualized, but typically leads to becoming more authentic with others, and accessing and manifesting the power of one's true nature. In doing so, clients can skillfully access their potential, reconnect with their creativity, and navigate any challenges or transitions life presents.
My goal is to create space for each person to come as they are and find healing and growth, in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. We will dig in to whatever you bring to therapy with curiosity and kindness, and leave open the possibility for change at any time. I am passionate about what I do, and I look forward to working with you.
I provide individual therapy to adults seeking guidance on a variety of concerns. My clinic hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-2pm Central. Areas of focus are generalized or social anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, school/career stress, social concerns, and difficulty adjusting to life changes or challenging situations. Additionally, I help neurodivergent adults explore concerns such as unmasking, emotional regulation, task initiation, and burnout.
