Do you suffer from chronic pain or anxiety? Have you had panic attacks? Can you fall asleep easily? I help with chronic pain management, anxiety (general anxiety, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder), insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Do you have a habit you want to stop? I also help with hair pulling, skin picking, weight loss management or stopping smoking with hypnosis.
My Background and Approach
For 20 years I worked in chronic pain research. My Houston VA Medical Center published research is on Chronic Low Back Pain Treated with Hypnosis or Biofeedback. For 17 years I have been in private practice with an evidence based approach with multiple non-medication tools (visualization, mindfulness meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, hypnosis, biofeedback, neurofeedback) to help you. I work as a part of your treatment team-the most important member is you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people can learn to decrease their chronic pain so that they may no longer need medication or can lessen their use of it. With clinical hypnosis I have decreased the frequency and intensity of my migraines. I have not taken Zomig for over 15 years.
