About My Clients
Life was okay, but recently it has been feeling more overwhelming, you feel drained, inadequate, anxious, guilty, moody. You feel alone and disconnected from people around you. Your relationships are suffering, and you wonder if you will ever feel truly understood. Perhaps you're having thoughts and memories about difficult times in past, or maybe you wonder why you keep doing the same things over and over. You worry if things don't change, you won't recognize the person you become.
My Background and Approach
Imagine this: Every day, you feel more balanced and at ease, able to solve your problems, and approach each day with hope. Your relationships feel authentic and safe. You can say what is on your mind, and you feel heard. Sounds too good to be true? It's not. It takes work, but it is worth it. I believe healing is possible for all of us, and I believe that starts with a relationship. My goal is to be a compassionate, honest, and real human where my clients can begin to learn what a safe and welcoming connection can look like. From that place of safety, we can investigate and break down old patterns, and look at the source. We can find new ways to look at and deal with unhelpful ways dealing with problems and difficult feelings. We know the body plays a part in our emotional reality, so we check in with feelings on a physical experience level, and start to make friends with our nervous system. I use a combination of attachment systems, EMDR, mindfulness and somatic approaches
