Meet the specialists

I am trained in The Polyvagal Theory and I am certified in The Safe & Sound Protocol. I engage in psychoeducation and skill building with all of my clients regarding the structure and function of their nervous system and how to expand their body's ability to feel more safe. The Safe & Sound Protocol is a separate, non-invasive sound therapy that helps activate the vagus nerve and increase distress tolerance. I offer this as a separate program to my clients.

— Brandi Solanki, Counselor in Waco, TX

Neurofeedback, in my opinion, is the only drug-free treatment besides psychotherapy that is really truly effective in treating a wide variety of mental health symptoms, in a lasting way. Please visit my website for more info but suffice to say that I have seen practically miraculous transformations in my clients' (and my own!) anxiety, depression, distractibility, moodiness, impulsivity, self-consciousness, executive function, sleep quality, productivity, energy, and so much more!

— Ursa Davis, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Edgewater, CO

Our brain works on wavelengths, and Neurofeedback involves non-invasive technology that either speeds up or slows down those wavelengths. This best serves as a compliment to talk therapy, but can be a helpful way to reduce symptoms

— Jonny Pack, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Asheville, NC

I am a certified Neurofeedback provider. I use Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS) to treat many symptoms. LENS lifts suppression’s and lifts compensations that our minds create to protect us. It allows all of the 21 sites in our brains to communicate more effectively through healing. If you are in Nevada area and you want to feel better, please come and see me.

— Michele Ramey, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Las Vegas, NV

I have over 10 years of experience using neurofeedback to address symptoms associated with stress, sleep, concussions, migraines, anxiety, depression, mood regulation, sensory processing, ADHD, Autism and chronic illness. I offer in office sessions and home rental systems.

Neurofeedback is an approach that has been around since the 1970's. It is supported by research & shown to be effective. Neurofeedback for us has been 90%-95% effective in seeing moderate to significant gains & improvements. Neurofeedback is not talk therapy. Neurofeedback uses therapists with specialized training, sophisticated software, & creates a map of your brain. Neurofeedback trains the brain for optimal brain performance in helping to overcome emotional/behavioral challenges.

— Katy Counseling for Men Katy, TX, Clinical Social Worker in Katy, TX

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive therapeutic approach that aims to regulate brain activity by providing real-time feedback on brainwave patterns. This technique, also known as EEG biofeedback, helps individuals learn to self-regulate their brain function, promoting optimal mental performance and emotional well-being.

— Paul Granello, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Worthington, OH

Neurofeedback is a type of biofeedback that helps to train your brain to function optimally. Your brain cells communicate via electrical impulses and are active all the time, even when you are asleep. Brainwaves occur at various frequencies: Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. They are measured in cycles per second or hertz (Hz). Neurofeedback trains your brain to optimize the brain frequencies and reestablish balance. Neurodiversity-affirming | The ways in which we experience mental and physical health, sex, relationships, work, money, and nearly every aspect of life can be impacted by neurodivergence, such as ADHD, Autism, complex trauma, and more. In the past, therapy was aimed at “fixing” issues from an ableist lens rather than accepting us as our whole selves. I bring an affirming perspective to neurodiversity and incorporate your experiences and identities into our sessions.

— Mollo Ivo, Licensed Master of Social Work in Rocky Hill, CT

I've been providing neurofeedback since 2015, specializing in ISF, Infraslow Fluctuation training, which supports health and flexibility in the autonomic nervous system (fight, flight, freeze, rest/digest) as well as profound repatterning of the systems in the brain that underlie many mental health issues.

— Amy Lewis, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pittsburgh, PA

Neurofeedback improves mental health by: 1. Self-Regulation: Enhances the brain's ability to regulate its activity. 2. Symptom Reduction: Alleviates symptoms of conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and depression. 3. Stress Management: Promotes relaxation and reduces stress. 4. Cognitive Functioning: Improves attention, focus, and overall cognitive performance. This non-invasive technique uses real-time feedback to train the brain towards healthier patterns.

— Aimee Halloran, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Garland, TX

I have been trained in neurofeedback and am currently working toward my certification. The brain has an amazing potential to heal itself when provided with the information needed to do so. Neurofeedback is a non-invasive process that can help improve the brain’s ability to regulate and, in turn, offer possible traction to the therapy process, whether that be for anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, brain injury, and more.

— Cindy Purifoy, Marriage & Family Therapist in Overland Park, KS

I am trained in neurofeedback and use it in addition to traditional therapy.

— Melissa Findley, Licensed Professional Counselor in Edmond, OK
