I know what it's like to feel broken, like counseling just doesn't work for you. I felt frustrated with the experience of talk therapy, having some progress but digressing again. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced chronic disconnection in their lives, helping them understand what is actually going on in their brains and bodies when they are defensive, anxious, depressed, emotionally dysregulated, etc. Through understanding and "bottom-up" approaches we can get unstuck.
Being human is often tough. Sometimes we lose our way and can feel stuck and overwhelmed. Sometimes we would like to change parts of our lives or ourselves but don’t know how. Therapy can be an empowering way to promote healing, growth, and wellness. Often, we initially seek treatment to address a specific concern and then begin to uncover other areas of our lives in which we want to make meaningful change. My goal is for this process to feel supportive, affirming, and appropriately challenging.

My clients tend to have a cluster b or cluster c personality disorders, are neurodivergent, like a therapist who is explicitly authentic, uses trauma informed interventions and self/disclosure fairly openly. They tend to prefer someone who is not trying to correct their thinking, help them think positively, or simply go “mmhmm yea” and tend to prefer someone who is more dynamic. My clients also enjoy the psycho educational aspects and integrative (reiki/somatic/yoga) aspects of the process
