I work with families, teens, and adults. I work to help clients improve their life satisfaction. Whether that’s addressing depression or anxiety, working toward health in relationships, healing family of origin wounds, addressing trauma or a life transition, my aim is to guide clients toward a better understanding of themselves and what they want.
I have experience helping clients overcome anxiety and depression, as well as difficult experiences including trauma and problematic behaviors. I work with my clients to reprocess challenging memories allowing them to regain control over their emotions and responses. I understand that things we go through can manifest in many ways, and I'm here to help you navigate the impact of the tough things in your life.
I specialize in supporting high achievers, underachievers, highly sensitive persons, and creatives. I also support adults who are racial, ethnic, social, or neuro minorities. Why does my specialization matter? You want a therapist who can understand the complexity of your life, identity, and history. You want someone who can see your strengths, respect your values, and challenge you in validating and positive ways.

Are you experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression from living in this difficult world? Perhaps you've experienced your own personal trauma, or are seeking to understand and find joy in identities that the majority population "others" or discriminates against. I enjoy working with people across the lifespan, especially those in the queer community who are seeking relief and are ready to explore ways to show up with more embodied joy and liberation.
Often, the people who find me have been disempowered in some way, whether through a traumatic experience or because they have gotten the message that their unique way of being isn't acceptable. These experiences can leave deep wounds and cause disconnection from self and others. My passion is helping people of all ages rediscover their voice and to fully embody who they want to be in the world.
I am passionate about supporting my clients in their unique process of growth, healing, and connecting to new inner awareness after traumatic events, during life transitions, through relationship challenges, during sexual difficulties or explorations, while navigating chronic illness, or through other mental health concerns. My clients include people across the spectrum of gender and sexual expression, poly and CNM folks. I am LGBTQIA+ inclusive and affirming as well as kink aware and affirming.
Does it feel like your life is driven by what you don’t want to feel instead of what’s meaningful to you? Trauma isn’t just what happened to you, but the impact those moments have had inside of you. However, we are also more than the worst things that have happened to us. I believe the relationship you have with yourself and others can be different. We will work to understand the impact of your past while also applying insights and tools to improve your day-to-day experience.
My unique background and training allow me to serve survivors of complex trauma and dissociative responses to find hope and healing. I have also had the honor of working with people with mood, anxiety, and other trauma related disorders to find peace. I firmly believe that healing is a personal journey that cannot be manualized, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. I understand that healing takes courage and the support of a safe, healthy community.

I have a passion for helping clients reduce anxiety, stress, confusion, sadness, and pain - so that they can live more fulfilling, authentic, and happy lives. Many of my clients have stated that coming to therapy has helped to catapult them out of their stagnation - enabling them to reach their full potential. For clients who have had difficulty finding a therapist who can understand their complex and intersecting identities, I can be a breath of fresh air. I work with folks ages 15 and up.
My ideal client is highly motivated to engage in personal growth and self-improvement, demonstrating a strong commitment to their well-being and development. They possess a growth mindset, meaning they are open to challenges, view setbacks as opportunities to learn, and believe in the potential for personal development and change with a genuine interest in exploring their attachment patterns and understanding how these patterns may influence their relationships and overall well-being.
I know what it's like to feel broken, like counseling just doesn't work for you. I felt frustrated with the experience of talk therapy, having some progress but digressing again. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced chronic disconnection in their lives, helping them understand what is actually going on in their brains and bodies when they are defensive, anxious, depressed, emotionally dysregulated, etc. Through understanding and "bottom-up" approaches we can get unstuck.
